Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read this! I know keeping a big exciting secret is hard; but, lets remember this is a SURPRISE!
Pastor Larry Gibson and his wife Donna will be celebrating 20 years of ministry at Auberry First Baptist Church this February! God has used Pastor Gibson in an incredible way over these last 20 years to preach Christ and minister to not only the Mono Indians on the Big Sandy Rancheria, but to our whole mountain community! There are not too many people who have such a burden to help others like Pastor Gibson. He represents Christ in many ways, including the sacrifice of his own needs to give and meet the needs of others.
We at Auberry First Baptist Church would like to surprise our Pastor and his wife Donna, with an all expenses paid trip on a cruise to Alaska! It has been one of his very quiet dreams to be able to go to Alaska, the last frontier, and he will be speechless upon receiving such a gift. We know that there are many others outside of our church who would love to be a part of this 20 year celebration. Pastor Gibson has gone out of his way to love so many. From those he has ministered to in Escondido, California as a youth and assistant pastor, to those in San Diego he has pastored (and continues to) and those over the last 20 years in the Central Valley, foothills and mountains of California.
