We live by reviving sports, Help the baseball team in Gaza

Hello my name is Mahmoud Tafesh, I am the founder and couch of baseball in Gaza.

To everyone who knows baseball, it is a global game loved by young and old alike, and watched by all. Therefore, we in Palestine, specifically in Gaza, decided to introduce this sport here so that our young boys and girls could engage in it. It started in 2017 with the formation of teams for both boys and girls, leading to a league with clubs they could join and play in joyfully. However, due to the war, the killing, and the destruction in Gaza, our beloved sport began to fade. During these days, the temporary headquarters of the federation, which housed offices and equipment, was destroyed. Some players and players’ family members were displaced from their homes to other areas, some were martyred during this war, and some lost family members. Also, all the sports equipment, which was already scarce—bats, balls, and gloves—was destroyed, some at the clubs that were demolished and others in homes that were destroyed. Therefore, we have decided not to stop and not to abandon baseball but to rebuild the team anew and to be able to play the game freely. I hope that all athletes who love baseball and softball will donate to the Palestinian team in Gaza for girls and boys.
