<div>Situated in one of the poorest parts of the town, this school is in Kaloko and provides education, health care and a feeding program for the poorest of the poor children.

<div>Zambia is in the middle of the worst drought in the last 20 years.
</div>
<div>A drought means crops fail and Zambia's hydro electricity production falls dramatically.
</div>

<div>For the school, its 3 tonne maize crop is only good for animal feed. The 500kg peanut crop, used to make a high protein food supplement, is no more.
</div>

<div>We're using our reserves to provide a daily, midday meal for our students because for many of the students these 5 meals a week are their only meals.
</div>

<div>WE NEED HELP to keep the school of students open.
</div>
<div>This school of 200+ students is closed some days, because there's no money for generator fuel.
</div>

<div>Because there's no government water supply in the poorest part of town, our water is pumped from bore holes. That requires electricity.
</div>
<div>We need water for drinking, for the kitchen and for the toilets.
</div>

<div>The cost of providing water using the backup generator at $80+/Day of fuel. At the moment that's 4-5 days or $400 a week.
