Welcome Home Jerry!

In 1997 Jerry began serving a sentence of 40 years-life, but now will be able to come home after 26 years.

Jerry is an incredible father, son, and friend. He has surpassed his own expectations of what he can achieve, going to college while incarcerated despite barely knowing how to read when he went in.

He is an amazingly dedicated mentor, trying so hard to stop young kids from making mistakes like the ones he made that led him to prison. He says they don’t realize that a mistake can change the course of your life in an instant and that you’ll have to spend decades trying to get a second chance.

We have created this GoFundMe to help Jerry once he gets out. The money will go towards everything he needs: cell phone, clothes, shoes, food, savings...and so much more.  

Speaking on his release, Jerry said: "I thought I was going to die in here. I thought I was going to be another fallen man caught behind this 40-foot wall. Second chances don’t come around all the time and I am not going to waste it." Now let's help get him all the resources he needs when he comes home!
