Werner Family Home Fire

Walter (Wally) and Candy Werner lost their home in Norman NE on March 5, 2024 to a devastating fire. Their house along with all personal belongings were a complete loss. It is going to be a long emotional and physical journey as they try to recover from this unfortunate event. NORMAN, Neb. (KSNB) - Fire crews responded to a blaze in Norman Tuesday afternoon. According to the Minden Fire Department, the incident occurred at 3 p.m. near Main Avenue and K Road. The fire department said the one-story house was a complete loss. No one was injured due to the fire. According to the fire department, additional fire trucks were needed due to a lack of available water in the village of Norman. Firefighters were on the scene for three hours.
