This month marks the 40th anniversary of Kevin Collins' disappearance from a bus stop in the Haight/Ashbury area of San Francisco in February 1984. He became one of the first missing children to appear on milk cartons, igniting a nationwide search that even landed him on the cover of Newsweek magazine.

Despite years passing and the case going cold, the pursuit for answers never ceased. In 2013, hope was reignited when the case was reopened, and Dan Therrien was named as a prime suspect. However, Therrien had passed away in 2008, leaving investigators with unanswered questions.

One crucial lead pointed to Therrien's partner, Jack Chow, who fled to Canada following Therrien's death. Although police attempted to speak with Chow, he provided no significant information and even failed a polygraph test regarding Kevin's disappearance.
