Widnes hall minibus fund

Hello my name is Angie I’m the activity champion at anchor Widnes hall care home ,

We are a nonprofit organisation. We are trying to raise funds to buy our very own wheelchair accessible minibus. Due to the increased costs at the moment we are finding it very expensive to get our residents out in the community for day trips, wheelchair transport in our area is very scars we have had to cancel trips due to transportation not turning up.

Having our own minibus would enable us to take our residents to places like zoos, the seaside, parks and gardens, restaurants- even the pub!

These trips are a great opportunity to reminisce with trips down memory lane which are especially rewarding for our residents living with dementia.

We have already raised over £2000 by holding fundays,car wash sponsored walks with residents, staff &families have been donating items for us to sell at a local car-boot sales as you can imagine there is a very long way to go yet

Any help will be much appreciated and will enhance the lives of our residents.
