Reed's Medical Funds

This is Reed.  He was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at age 1.  He lost his adopting mother at age 5 and was unable to use his legs by age 10.  Reed now relies fully on an electric wheelchair for mobility.  Recently, he had an accident which caused both of his legs to break and days later he contracted pneumonia.  All of these factors landed Reed in the hospital and left his family with incredible medical costs. 

Kappa Alpha Order at the University of Arkansas will be holding a Car Smash event to "Wreck Muscular Dystrophy" on October 22nd. We would love to see you come out to our event and if you can't make it, all donations are appreciated as well. 


All proceeds from Car Smash and this GoFundMe will go toward offsetting these costs so please come out and help us to fight for Reed and Wreck Muscular Dystrophy!

Joe Detmer, KA’s appointed treasurer will handle funds through Kappa Alpha’s bank account to have 3 more sets of eyes on all the money to be more transparent with the donors and the family.
