If she could meet you, she'd have you at first kiss.
They say rescue dogs are always grateful and the circumstances of LuLu's life have formed in her a heart of pure gold.
LuLu was pulled from a high- kill shelter in North Carolina. She made the long trip to Wisconsin in pain, with a torn CCL and meniscus in her knee. Despite being in pain with every step, LuLu had to wait for funding to come in, in order to have the surgery she desperately needed.
This past May, LuLu's lucky day finally came. But again, LuLu was let down. The surgery wasn't successful, in-part because the surgeon wasn't experienced in this form of surgery.
So, once again, LuLu needs surgery urgently, but there are no funds available. The rescue that pulled LuLu from the shelter, has now been dissolved. Fortunately, there is a team of Rescue Warriors who have LuLu's back.
This big sweetie is living with her loving foster mom in Sun Priaire, WI. Anna is giving her the best care and a comfortable place to wait for, and recover from surgery.
The rest of us are spreading the word, asking people like you to join in the mission to do right by this sweet girl who has experienced so much pain and suffering in this life. We won't quit until she's better. But LuLu needs your help!
LuLu's needed surgery is estimated at $1,500. We want this to happen soon so this big-hearted 6-year old hound/pit mix can finally walk without limping. She's been through so much in this first half of life, let's give this great girl a pain free second half!
While LuLu's foster mom is committed to caring for her through the recovery period, she will soon need to find her forever home. Would you have a home for this calm, sweet love who just wants to be by you and show her gratitude with kisses? Perhaps one of you could help that way.
