Brain cancer victim securing 3yo daughters future

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Neil;

I am 34 years old, a father to beautiful 3 year old daughter, and husband to a loyal wife. In June 2018 I was diagnosed with a grade 4 brain cancer known as glioblastoma . This is the most aggressive cancer that begins within the brain. When I was initially diagnosed the doctors told me I likely only had 12 months to live. Incredibly hard news to take, for both me and my family.

I was told by the doctor if I had waited 1 more month I could have be been dead, so I want to ensure that others hear about my symptoms in case they may be having similar symptoms.

Multiple signs began to show in 2018. Initially they included major headaches. Mine eventually got so bad that they would put me onto the floor, with the feeling of electric surges trying to escape my head. They would last around 10-15 min and seemed to manifest more in the evening when I was tired. I also had visual side effects - such as blurring. Some other symptoms include nausea and vomiting, memory loss, and changes to personality, mood or concentration. Please be aware of yourself and those around you, as an early diagnosis can mean the difference between life and death.

Dealing with this has been very difficult but I am trying to be as positive and strong as I can. The cancer responded well to the first treatment, but I suffered a setback with the latest treatment. Cancers respond differently to different medicines and I am remaining hopeful that I can secure a treatment that blesses me with the ability to spend as much time as I can with my daughter.

One of the biggest hardships for me to endure is the fear of not being there for my daughters future.  I can't work, or legally drive, and am subject to suffering a stroke at any time. I have no idea how long I have left, but I want to use the time that I have to ensure my daughter has the best memories she can have with me.

I have created this campaign as a plea to others to help me secure a small token towards my daughters future. This money could help me in many ways to do so.

Any donation, no matter how small, is received with more love and appreciation than you will ever know.
