A Heart for Corey Mosley

My name is Michelle Aumiller, and On behalf of the Midwest City Utilities Line crews and myself, We are asking for help on our mission against time, to help not just our dear friend, but our brother, Corey Mosley. When I started a little over 9 years ago, Corey was the first one to make me feel welcome, just as he did all new people that joined our team. Corey is a devoted family man that loves his wife and family with all of his heart. His grandbabies are his pride and joy too. He also brings so much light and happiness to all of us that worked with him every day. He took great pride in doing his job, and worked hard every day. Yet, we could always count on him to keep us laughing through the day.
Corey is only 43 years old, and became critically ill earlier this year. He was admitted into the hospital with pneumonia and that is when they found out his heart was barely working. The past few months have been the hardest for him and his family. Due to his heart condition, he had to medically retire. He has died and been brought back twice. The second time was just a week ago. That is when he and his wife were told he has to have a heart transplant. Until then, he has to have a heart pump surgically implanted.
The money we are raising is going to be used to help Corey and his wife with the medical, transportation and living expenses they are, and will continue facing as he goes through the surgeries and transplant. His wife Tonya is a hospice nurse. She continues to work when she can so they have insurance and an income. Corey is her life, and she is working very hard to take care of him and keep their houshold going.
That is why it is so important for us to help them. We want to help so all they have to concentrate on is getting Corey better. So he can get back to being Tonya's loving husband, his grandbabies loving P'pa, and his son's loving dad, without the fear that every breath he takes could be his last. He told me yesterday how thankful he is that God has allowed him to still be here with his family. He isn't ready to leave them, and we aren't ready to give up on him.
We all love Corey, we admire his incredible strength as he fights to live each day. We, along with Corey and Tonya, will be so very grateful for every person that feels it in their heart to help Corey. He is a wonderful man that lights up the world around him, please help us keep his light here a little longer.
