Wheelchair Van

Hello, My name is Heather. I’m trying to raise money for my daughter Alizayha to get a wheelchair van or just a van, and we can get it modified later. Zae Zae is 14 years old, and she has intractable Lennox gastaut syndrome, athetoid cerebral palsy, and a seizure disorder. She uses a wheelchair. Alizayha recently just had three hip surgeries. One in November, then an emergency surgery on December 23rd and February 21, 2022. All of Zae Zae's care is through Vanderbilt Children's hospital. We have to travel to Vanderbilt at least four times a month, and the only transportation I have is suburban. To get Zae Zae in the truck, I have to lift her.. it is tough for me to get her up that high, but I have been doing it for some time now, and she is now too big for me to lift her that high. So I am at the point where I'm raising money to get a van. If I get the van, I can, more than likely, later on, get it modified. Any donation will be appreciated. This is one of the hardest things for me to do if you know me. I do not ask anyone for anything. It's just to the point where it's hard now. I have been off work since October 30th. Like I stated above, Alizayha had her first hip surgery on November 2, 2021, she had a dislocated hip. They did the surgery. She then caught an infection from that surgery and had another surgery on December 23, 2021, where they drained the infection and performed a reconstruction of the acetabulum. She then went back and had another surgery on February 21 on the same hip. She had to get her femur revised again because it pushed up against her sciatic nerve. So with all that she has had going on, I haven't been able to work. A few people in my community told me to start a Gofund me for help. If there is any money left over, I will use it for any medical equipment that Zae Zae will need. There is tons of equipment that her insurance doesn't pay for that she can benefit from.
