Eviction Help

Hello. My name is Caren, and that is Milo with me in the picture. He is a 22yo African Grey parrot.

I am very humbled to ask for help from family, friends and strangers. Thank you for reading.

I am asking for help to pay this month and next months rent while I am looking for work. I was laid off in May and was not given severance. Unemployment is still "in process", it's been 8 weeks and counting. I was just authorized for food assistance yesterday. 

A job paying at least $18/ hr full time in Customer Service would be equally appreciated. I have years of management experience.

I was living paycheck to paycheck as so many people are and had very little in savings. That's all been used up while I continue my job search and wait for unemployment to be approved. I believe that will be in early August.

I am late with July's rent (and have a demand for rent/intent to evict notice); August is right around the corner. I currently only have about $180 and an old truck I pray won't break down on me. I appreciate any amount you are able to help me with. I will be ok once unemployment rolls in. I hope to find work again any day now.

I have contacted all resources in my county and they are unable to help since I no longer have children living with me and I'm not yet a senior.
