In a world that gears its education towards the able bodied and those unencumbered by learning differences, children who fail to fit in these categories miss the opportunity to experience music and dance in their bodies and souls.

Feel the beat is dedicated to bringing the expressive world of dance and music education to the lives of children who are Deaf, Deaf-Blind or Hard of Hearing.


                                        What we Offer 
Jari, and her co-founder, Julia, have been working with engineers to design and patent a dance floor that  functions as a speaker so Feel the Beats’ students can feel and understand sound on a whole new level during instruction.

 We all know music is powerful.  Here are some of the positive effects of music and dance for students:
