Fund NEW PLAY for TwoSpirit Theatre

Donation protected

Nelwat Ishkamewe (Nawat: Indigenous Root) is a Two-Spirit Family of artists, healers, farmers, and organizers, and we are collecting funding to produce TWO-SPIRIT THEATRE PRODUCTIONS!

As Transgender Native American people, we find often time we are excluded from participating in the arts. Nelwat Ishkamewe is trying to break that cycle by creating our own art! Since 2015, we've been producing short play series, plays for young audiences, artist revues, educational workshops, and structured safe spaces for Two-Spirits and Black/Indigenous Trans POC.

This year, we are producing MAIN STAGE PRODUCTIONS and SECOND STAGE PRODUCTIONS, which will include three plays with a 10-performance run, festival participations, stage readings, and artist revues.
