I hope this message finds you all in good health and spirits. I’ve just received news that has lifted me up. WUNMI Band has been invited to showcase at South By Southwest (SXSW) Conference and Festival that celebrates the convergence of the interactive, film and music industries.
We are one of a few select artists invited to perform at the curated Live Band Showcase. This is our first ever invitation to perform at the very prestigious showcase on March 13th. We are so thankful and excited for this timely opportunity to present our Wunmi Band magic in front of music industry execs and a global audience.

We need help and quickly to make it happen! As this is a non paying gig, we are attempting to finance the trip with the help of our friends and family.
We need airfare, lodging, food, ground transportation and rehearsal support to prepare. We also need help to cover the cost of printing our promtional material and video documentation with post editing to follow up with the many leads to producers, agents, and global festival booking outreaches we will make by performing at SXSW. Everyone who donates will also receive via file share a copy of the final edited footage of WUNMI Band Live at SXSW 2018!
WUNMI Band will perform music that has helped coin Wunmi as the Queen of Afrobeat by both fans and industry professionals in mags and rags.
