Our Beloved dog Stella has recently passed away.  She has crossed over the rainbow bridge and joined her lifelong friend Sammy in paradise.  Stella has been my dearest friend and Emotional Support dog for 15 years.  Many of you are familiar with Stella's story and have been following her Inspirational Recovery from IVDD Spine Surgery.  A few years ago it seemed like Stella was losing her jumps. One morning, I was taking the pups out for their morning business, when I discovered something was really wrong. Stella couldn't use her back hind legs. She would hop then flop to the ground.  As the day progressed, she got worse. She couldn't stand or control her bladder.     The vet confirmed my worst fear. Stella had all the signs of a serious spine injury.     We were referred to a specialist. An MRI confirmed she had herniated vertebra, IVDD. This condition would result in permanent paralysis and required immediate surgery.    

 Without hesitation, I signed the consent and turned over my entire savings. Stella was already on her way into the emergency operating room. .... Later that day I got to see her in the recovery kennel. Stella has an amazing Will to Live. Over the next few days she continued to gain strength and movement.
