Dash's emergency bill and MRI TEST

Donation protected
On December 20th 2013 we were blessed with a litter of puppies. One was extra special as he was our little miracle pup. His name is Dash but in our home he is know by "happy puppy". He was one of 6 surviving puppies from Mikana and Aussie's litter. He is our little miracle puppy because he was stuck behind a still born for 14 hours. Despite my failed efforts to resuscitate the other little pup, I immediately attempted resuscitation on Dash as soon as we found him and I was determined to save this one. I was successful then. I am just as determined now.

Out of all the dogs I have ever owned, Dash is hands down the one with the most personality. He really is too smart for his own good. Every morning I literally get out of bed for this boy. He will come to the room door and call out "momma... moooom" and continues to do so to wake me up. Yes, he enunciates. If you don't believe me, it wouldn't surprise me. We didn't believe it the first time we heard it either.

This happy puppy brings so much joy to our lives. Behind that big smile, you would never guess that he has his struggle with seizures. For a little over a year now he has been experiencing seizures every 1-2 months. While scary, then have been, for the most part, well managed. On Monday October 18th 2016 out baby had a seizure after being free of them for about 2 1/2 months... but then he had another follow by several more within the course of 2 hours.

After a dozen vets our here in the Sacramento area and being told that they would not be able to see him we desperately called his general practice veterinarian in Fairfield who was unfortunately not fully equipped to handle a case like this but he did his best to his ability. Dash was released to go home at 6pm and we arrived at home at about 7:30pm

All he wanted to do when he got home was check up on his family and make sure we were all ok. He was quite out of it an not fully able to walk yet as he was still heavily sedated. At about 9pm we noticed he has mini bouts of what looked like seizures. We kept a watchful eye on him and finally decided that it was time for a run to the ER.

5am just a few hour short of "business hours" and our charges are nearly quadrupled the hefty bill we just paid a few short hours ago. We have to atleast give him a fighting chance. I am willing to do anything legally possible to get funds to help my little happy puppy. Even if it means swallowing my pride and ask for help... from anyone & everyone who is willing and able. Because I am, myself struggling with a debilitating disease (MS) my funds have been a bit tight due to the high cost of my own medication. Again, I am willing to do anything that is legal and that I am physically able to do to raise enough money.

Your donation will be used towards assisting with this current ICU hospitalization, further testing, blood work and care with the Neurologist and  MRI.
I have never done anything like this before and those who know me personally know that I am the last person to ever ask for help. I am humbling myself now to anyone willing to assist. I don't expect to reach the entire goal through here but I will continue my efforts and hope for a blessing. Please. I appreciate everything and everyone who has taken the time to read this. Every single donation no matter the amount helps immensely. Thank you all.
