Help Juan adjust to a wheelchair
Donation protected
Today Juan had a severe accident at work with a hay bale machine. He just got out of surgery a few hours ago. They think a 1300 pound bale of hay landed on him and severed his spinal cord and broke his back. He will now be PERMANENTLY paralyzed from his waist down and will have to adjust his life to a wheel chair.
This means he will have to change and adjust his whole life. He is married and has two girls. They are going to need all of the help they can get until he can get approved for social security and find out some other things. The first major issue is that they live in a townhouse. He will not be able to get up and down the stairs and more stairs to the bedroom and shower. So they will need help to pay for costs of moving since he will not be able to work. He was the sole provider for the family.
Next they will need to eventually get some things hanged in a vehicle so that he will be able to drive again.
Lastly they will need help paying basic bills since he was the sole provider for the family. Juan is a very hard working father and works 60+ hours a week. They will need all of the help they can get to pay basic bills until they figure everything else out.
This is truly a tragedy and completely changes someone's life. It's not only an adjustment for Juan but for his kids and wife. There are so many things he will never be able to do again. Anything will help and will be appreciated greatly!
My name is Chelsy and I went to grade school with Lindsey. She is busy of course at the hospital and figuring things out so I asked her if it was ok to start a gofundme and I am giving her the password and info so that she will be able to come on here and do updates as well as get any donations. The money goes directly to them.
Thank you and please continue to pray that he has no more complications!
If Lindsey is unable, I will do updates as I can for the family! Again thank you all and no donation is too small!
