My name is Michael Mulyadi, an aspiring arts administrator who would start a career as a concert promoter specialising in contemporary art music and cultural dialogue in London.

I would like to raise money for my first concert project as a part of my Music Management course in Goldsmiths, University of London by providing the platform for collaboration between artists from different backgrounds. For this project, I am inviting a Polish visual image and body artist and an Indonesian gamelan and western music composer to collaborate and create a new piece of art to be staged in Goldsmiths, University of London in The George Wood Theatre, March 21st 2016.

I have managed to raise 800 pounds for this production and am now short of 875 pounds for the realisation of the production. The fund is to cover the commissioning and production cost of this production which covers artists fees, instrument rent and publication. This concert is a free concert and will be open for public and diverse communities in southeast London, especially in Lewisham borough and rely on donation and sponsorship.

This whole production means so much for me as this is going to be my first step as a concert promoter who focuses on contemporary arts and dialogue between different cultures, Asian and European. This is also part of my vision to promote a better understanding of Indonesian contemporary cultural in southeast London.

One would like to show his gratitude to those who supporting by inviting them to participate in the creative process in rehearsal on March 15th and March 18th, 2016. Donors are also invited to discuss the work and the creative process with the artists in the rehearsal and to attend the performance on March 21st, 2016. For those donating more than £20 are also entitled to a physical video recording of the performance.
