Hrycenko Family Medical Expenses

On Saturday, March 18th, Lisa and her son Tyson (6) were in a car accident while driving to McLean, SK from Regina. The two were T-boned by a tow truck and were left with life-threatening injuries. The accident caused the car to be crushed in from the passenger side. Lisa and Tyson were both taken to the Hospital in Regina, however, Tyson was then airlifted to Saskatoon. Lisa is in critical condition in the ICU and has been found to have a bruised liver, blood clot under her heart, and torn diaphragm - she is currently in and out of consciousness. Tyson, who is in Saskatoon receiving care is now in an induced coma to monitor a bleed detected in his brain. This accident has caused very difficult emotional and financial burdens on the family. Scott, Tyson's father, and Lisa's partner, is staying put in Saskatoon with his son, while Lisa's family is able to be in Regina with her. However, Scott's family is unable to be in Saskatoon with him during this difficult time as working is a priority to help try and cover the medical and personal costs that are starting to pile up with both parents being absent from work. This fundraiser will help the family maintain costs at their residence here in Regina, as well as covering costs for family travel and emergent care services.
