Help for the Smit Family
Donation protected
Last night I heard from my daughter that her friend's brother was seriously injured in an ATV accident while riding with a friend. My heart sunk thinking about all this family has already been through in the past few years.
Chad Smit is in a London hospital fighting for his life. As if this isn't bad enough...this young man lost his dad unexpectedly just 3 years ago and he, his sister and mom have all bravely fought to find a new sense of normal.
For those of you who don't know Chad - he has such a big heart. At a very young age, he stepped up to the plate when his dad died, helping him mom around the house - yard work, taking care of the pool, repairs ...becoming the man of the house. He is one of the special ones.
They are strong, fun, caring, wonderful people who are now thrown back into an unimagineable nightmare.
I know their friend base is huge and many of us want to help them with meals and any unexpected expenses that are going to come up and feel this is the best way to do this.
Every one of us who loves this family are grateful for any amount you are willing to give to help them at this time.
