KDR Goes Pink

Tax deductible
My family has long supported various causes by collecting eyeglasses for the needy, walking 5Ks for MS research, putting in sod for our local high school tennis team, and generally just doing what we can to help out.

Every year on St. Patrick's Day, I dye my hair green. It's a whimsical way to celebrate the holiday and simply make people smile.

This year, I decided to extend the whimsy and to really make it count. As you may know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

We have all been touched in some way by breast cancer. Those of us in feature film post-production have a personal connection to Allison W. Gryphon, a brave young woman who filmed a documentary about what cancer means to patients, doctors and all those affected by it. In November, 2016, Allison sadly lost her battle against breast cancer.

In her memory, and in an effort to raise awareness of breast cancer, not to mention raise funds for breast cancer research, I'll be dyeing my hair pink every day in the month of October. Business meetings, grocery shopping, even dining with my wife for our anniversary, you'll see me with pink hair.

So help me bring some whimsy into the world, make people laugh a little and raise some money for a worthwhile cause. Please consider donating here for breast cancer research. All donations made on this page will go directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation based in New York, N.Y.

P.S. This website was created by my daughter, Madeline, who will be updating it daily with photos of my pink hair.
