Central Fire Personnel Homes Lost
Donation protected
Eleven of the approximately 40 Central Fire personnel lost their homes during the Butte Fire. From Board Members, Fire Fighters, Water Tender Operators and Support Staff, every person involved with Central Fire is an important part of our family and staff.
Central Calaveras Fire (Central Fire) is a primarily volunteer department. With one paid Fire Captain, one paid Administrative Assistant and a part time paid Fire Chief, Central Fire depends on its volunteers to staff and respond to calls in our large district.
Not only do these hard working volunteers need and deserve the help, we all really need to make sure they stay in the area. The fire may be almost over but all of us still need a fire department - especially one this experienced and dedicated.
Calaveras Fire & Rescue is the principal fire agency in the areas most affected; Glencoe, Railroad Flat, Mountain Ranch and Sheep Ranch and is the area’s only year round fire department.
Monies raised will go directly to the personnel who lost their homes.
