Help Louis Get Back On The Road
Backstory:
Louis Shackleton is a boudoir, portrait, art, event, and wildlife photographer. His creative, warm and kind energy has made him a beloved figure in the sexual freedom community, especially with his work with the Woodhull Sexual Freedom Summit and Sex Geek Summer Camp. Over the years, Louis has created his unique style, philosophy, and artistic vision that plays into and then subverts the male gaze.
Why we need your help:
Recently Louis has taken his art on the road in his beloved car, traveling the country taking his art to people in the places they are most comfortable. Disabled, he now makes his way photographing naked people and birds (usually also naked). Recently though, Louis and his trusty vehicle have hit a number of snags due to extensive car repairs.
In the hopes of helping a dear friend who creates such positive change in the world, this campaign exists to get him back on the road as soon as possible.
We're hoping to raise 4k for the following repairs:
-2k goes to a full timing belt replacement. (That includes a new water pump, new cam seal, and crank seal, and it will stop the oil leak which is causing most of the other engine problems.)
-The other $2k goes to oxygen sensors, which have been fouled due to the oil leak, suspension work on the front, electrical problems like the brake light switch, and a new windshield washer pump.
Beyond covering these repairs, any and all donations will go towards a new heater core, as his beloved car currently has no heat. (This is an estimated $1,800)
