Military Veterans Dental Days

When we opened our new state of the art Dental Clinic here at the Conejo Free Clinic last Spring after three years of planning, fund raising and construction, we knew that its impact on people deeply suffering from dental crisis would be tremendous….  helping children, seniors, students, single parents…..literally anyone who is low-income and not able to afford critically needed dentistry.

So when we got the opportunity to help struggling military veterans and their families, we jumped at the chance.  A remarkable team of dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants immediately said yes to make this happen...  They inspired us to raise the immediate extra funds needed to host our first Military Veterans Dental Days being held here at the Conejo Free Clinic in conjunction with Veterans’ Day Weekend, November 9th and 10th.

It has been deeply touching to all of us at the CFC that our Dental Team is 100% willing to donate their personal time and professional dental skills to treat our military veterans free of charge, even on the weekend! 

We are taking appointments now, and wish you could see as we do the emotion and gratitude of our local veterans knowing they will be getting their dental care free of charge here in just three weeks!

Your gift will help us purchase the dental supplies needed for them….  x-rays, cavity fillings, cleanings, infection care, partials, dentures, gum disease and oral cancer screenings.

Because this opportunity came up unexpectedly late in the year, it was not part of the CFC’s operating budget.  We need to raise $5,000 for additional patient treatment supplies, and we are about half way there…. about $2,300 to go.
