Pals Organizing Money for Paul (POMP)

First POP, then POOP... now POMP.
The fearless visionary behind such organizations as the Philly Orchard Project (POP) and Proud of Organic Philadelphia (POOP) is in need of some support after he had a stroke the night of Monday, January 7th.
For those of you who might not know of Paul Glover, he has dedicated his whole life dreaming of solutions to society's most daunting problems -- and more impressively, implementing these ideas tangibly in the form of community- and city-scaled organizations. The irony, then, is not lost upon us that the man who spent his time developing the infrastructures for health care cooperatives and a Patch Adams-style free clinic now requires money-intensive medical care-- two systems he sought to replace with more equitable, beautiful alternatives. (If you'd like to check out his work, you can find it all on http://paulglover.org/ .)
What a magnificent brain, indeed. If you are able, Pals Organizing Money for Paul (POMP) would be grateful for any contribution you can make to help cover the costs of Paul's medical care with the hopes that relieving the stress of this financial burden will allow for him to focus on healing. Please keep posted to this channel and his Facebook for updates as non-monetary needs arise, too.
For transparency, please know this money will be held by Claudia Raab, friend and neighbor to Paul. Check(s) will be written to cover costs accrued from the hospital, rehab facility, and if we have funds remaining, for the resources needed upon release. Thanks for your contribution!
