Phil and Katie

This story is about my brother who lives in Costa Mesa currently suffering from stage 4 pancreatic cancer, being treated at Hoag memorial hospital for chemotherapy weekly. He (Phil Cartier) and his wife Katie are having to move from their beautiful condo as a result of the financial hardship due to Phil's illness. Katie's family was there for two weekends in a row loading up a pod parked in front of their condo just off Baker Street.  This pod basically has everything they own packed inside.  Last Sunday morning when leaving for Hoag hospital they noticed the pod had been broken into (police report below), and among other things, their bed headboard AND Phil's new Schwin Meridian adult tricycle with basket, light teal in color, was stolen. (Picture below) It's hard to put into words how much this bike meant to Phil, his only source of exercise and pride at this challenging time in his life. I am asking for the public's help in finding this bike! And a secondary request, donations to him and his wife to help this transition to a rental in the area would be so appreciated and such a blessing for them as they are doing everything possible to meet this challenge without incurring more financials hardships that would impact their life further.  His cancer has impacted more than his health, they are fighting the financial crisis of their lives.  Incoming money decreased as Phil cannot work, can't pay mortgage because income is decreased, and medical bills are extrodinary and building, therefore they must move.  This move has expenses in and of itself, plus now the theft....  Phil and his wife are very strong people, but this is testing them for sure.  Please, we need your help.
