Physio at the spa!
Anyone who has had treatment through the NHS, knows just how difficult it is to get the right treatment and get it when it is most needed. And that is what this Gofundme page is hopefully going to help with.
It is only very recent that I stumbled across Lee Gardener's youtube videos about growing plants Project Diaries . Loads of growing videos later, I noticed one where he was going to tell his viewers about his health and holy cow I was blow away. How this man survived all that has happened to him and STILL manage to smile in the videos??
These past 2 years have been so incredibly hard for me as my own health has rapidly declined and now stuck with 3 diagnoses that have no cures and all only going to get worse (none fatal, just painful and annoying!). And let's not talk about how my mother is now terminally ill with lung cancer and not expected to live much longer.
However it is not my point to talk about my own struggles though, my point is to highlight Lee Gardener. I am in awe of his ability to even occasionally, for the videos, stay positive and smile for his viewers. I needed that, so bad. I needed someone in a "worse situation", to show he was still hanging in there and that there is still things to be positive about and I do not think he fully understands just how much that can help other people who are also struggling.
Now Lee just uploaded a video on his channel Project Diaries , telling us about a trip to the spa to do physio. Yes, you heard right, he went to a frigging Spa, because NHS isn't providing him with what he needs and private sessions with a physio COST MORE than a SPA!
Now this is not just a trip to the spa where he can relax and get a manicure, no he went to strengthen the muscles in his leg so he can walk again! I am absolutely disgusted that the NHS have left him in the lurch, but even more so that a physio treatment is that expensive that a spa hotel is cheaper.
So, to get to the point, help me send Lee Gardener to another spa (so he can use the warmed up pool to do excersises) or even physio treatment and get him back on his feet so that he can make more videos for us!
Much love to you Lee and hope you get some treatments out of this and that we see you back out in the sun making videos for us again, stay strong! <3
