Momma Sansa's Unexpected C-Section

Donation protected
Sansa was a rescued stray pregnant cat. We took her in to ensure she received the love, care, and appropriate accomodations to have her babies. She just gave birth on July 31st at about 10pm to six adorable kittens which can been seen in the picture attached. Unfortunetly, Sansa had one little baby left that she was not ready to give birth too. We waited as recommended by a trusted vet we use consistently, but still the baby was not ready. We decided to take Sansa to the vet to ensure she would remain in good health tonight. To our dismay we were presented with two options - Have a C-Section performed to keep Sansa alive as well as give her baby a better chance of survival, or Euthanize both Sansa and the baby.  We typically do not condone euthanizing unless it is the absolute only option, so we proceeded with the C-Section, which is actually occuring right this second(8pm on Aug 1st). C-Sections are very costly, and our preferred emergency vet runs around $1,200 for the surgery not to mention the additional costs that are invovled. You can have C-Sections done less expensively depending the vet or situation, as well as if it is scheduled during business hours, however it is after hours and considered an emergency visit at this time as there was no time to wait.

Any help provided will go directly towards Sansa's medical expenses, as well as additional expenses to ensure her seven little ones are treated approprietly, receive medical care to include vaccines and spay/neuter, and eventually go to their safe new forever homes. Thank you for reading.
