Smiling For Sienna

My name is Jennifer & I’m a single mom to this beautiful little girl. Life has never been easy for myself but lately it’s been extremely difficult. I lost my father to cancer a few months ago & life just continued to fall apart from there. My daughter was born with a syndrome called Pierre Robin Syndrome. This caused her to receive a tracheostomy at birth as well as a feeding tube when she was 2 weeks old. She stayed in the NICU for 2 months & has had multiple hospital stays since. She is now 2 years old & has a few more surgeries coming up. My daughter needs 24/7 care & unfortunately I can’t hold a job being the only one able to care for her. We face eviction almost every month just barely making it. I don’t eat so my daughter can. All I want to do is get through these next few months until my daughters surgeries are done & I can hopefully return to work. I’m not the kind of person who likes to ask to for help but I’m absolutely terrified to think of what could happen to myself & my daughter. My dad was my absolute world & the only person I could ever rely on when things got tough. After surviving cancer myself at only 16 & then watching my dad fight his battle for years only to surrender his life to such a disgusting disease completely broke me.
