New Shoes for Inner City Kids

Tax deductible

34% of the children at this inner-city public school are homeless. Many come to school with broken shoes, or shoes that are three sizes too big for them. It's a practical, everyday need that impacts the entire family.

Join the effort as we provide a brand new back-to-school pair of shoes for every single child (and the entire Staff) at Perkins K-8 School in downtown San Diego.

Every child will receive a new pair of socks and a new pair of shoes. Our team will ensure their feet are properly cleaned in the process. All along the way, they will connect with a great team of volunteers for a personal conversation and encouragement. We won't stop until EVERY CHILD leaves with a smile on their face.

This is a great opportunity to be generous for kids who really need this practical resource. Make a tangible difference for the good.

WHY SHOES?

Shoes and socks are reported to be in the “Top 5 Items Needed” by students in school (Champions for Kids, 2015). And new shoes were the NUMBER ONE need identified by Perkin's K-8 Principal.

We need your help.
