What happened

Early June 2017, lymph nodes in Stewart’s collar bone area gradually started to swell. This was worrisome due to existence of cancer history in the family: both his father and grandfather died of this type cancer.  Later, some more swollen lymph nodes appeared.  Now they have been found in different parts of his body – the collar bone area, neck, chest, abdomen and kidney.

A needle biopsy was conducted in early September, but unfortunately this procedure did not diagnose which lymph node or area is causing the condition,  or which type of Lymphoma it is.  Lymphoma has a broad spectrum of severity.  His Ear, Nose and Throat doctor then conducted an open biopsy (a surgery that required a full day at the hospital) to collect more samples to diagnose the situation.

Medical bills have piled up over the past 40 days:  2 complete blood works, 2 upper body catscans, needle biopsy, 1 x-ray, 1 full day at the Emergency Room at Lenox Hill hospital and an open biopsy.

How will these funds help you or the person you love?

Due to an issue with Stewart's health insurance and the necessity of futher tests and treatment, funds have far exceeded what is available to date.  The money raised will cover the medical bills and the hospital fees that are anticipated to accrue.

Any assistance you can offer, is greatly appreciated.
