Team Sneakers For Team DBA 13U

Team DBA, DBA short for Delaware Basketball Association. This group of amazing Delaware youths came together suddenly and really represented Delaware well. Believe it or not, some of these kids met just this past Friday for the very first time, and the next day we played in our 1st tournament. We practiced a grand total of 1x as a full team. A full team of only 7 players. We played 5 games in 2 days. Surprisingly we made it all the way to the Championship playing against teams that have been established for years. We didn't win the Championship but these kids really gave it their all! We're hoping our Delaware community will assist in making these shoes affordable for the kids, or if we're lucky can come together and make it so all the kids can have them at no cost. We have 7 players, the shoes are $130 per pair. That's a grand total of $910. If we can manage to crowd surf $400, the shoes would cost each kid only $73. If can manage to crowd surf $600, the shoes would cost each kid only $45. If we can manage to crowd surf $770, the shoes would cost each kid only $20. It may be a long shot, but I believe it's worth a shot! You miss 100% of the shots you don't take anyhow....
