Jami's Cancer Fight
Donation protected
My name is Jami Masucci and I am a mother of three and a grandmother of two. During the past few years I have been extremely anemic, and last Christmas I discovered why. After an emergency trip to the hospital and a CT scan I was losing a lot of my blood due to a very large mass in my colon called an “apple core carcinoma.” In the last month I have been through a colonoscopy, a barium enema, and a colon resection surgery, which confirms stage 3 colon cancer. During my surgery a large portion of my colon was removed and tested to see if the colon cancer has spread to my lymph nodes, sadly I have to say “Yes.” I will need an extensive chemo treatment, which requires six rounds of chemo. My only wish during this unexpected bump in the road is to be able to stay in my home where I am most comfortable during my chemo treatments. I ask for any donation to make this possible as I cannot work during this journey. I have looked into the steps for disability assistance for cancer patients; however it does take 6-8 months before that is even an acceptable option for the state of Nevada, and that is if it gets approved. Any donation is greatly appreciated as I just want to stay in my home. I thank you so very much and I will not give up! If you are unable to donate please say a pray on my behalf. Both will be greatly appreciated.
