Kristoff's Schizencephaly

Recently my son was diagnosed with Schizencephaly which is a rare birth defect that involves slits or clefts in the cerebral hemispheres of the brain. These clefts may appear on either one or both sides of the brain. They may be filled with cerebrospinal fluid. This causes him to have infantile spasms that really terrify my son. His doctor is way out in San Diego which is a 3 an 1/2 hour drive from where I live. I just want to be able to hear my son laugh again. In order for that I have to make sure he gets the right treatments from the Radys Children Hospital.
