Paws In The Panhandle Sanctuary
Donation protected
Please help us save dogs and cats from nearby county shelters that will surely die (often in a week) if they are not rescued or adopted from these shelters. You can do this by making a tax deductible donation right now.
You see, we are ready to break ground on the construction of our no-kill, adoptive friendly, sanctuary. This will be the only no-kill facility in our entire county of Lancaster, SC, and one of only a few in our surrounding 3 counties. We cannot begin construction until we have secured funds for the project. The bank will loan us one-half of what is needed so we have to come up with the other half in cash.
Even though 100% of all proceeds from our thrift shop and all donations go to support our rescue and our building fund, we just need a little help from you guys to kick this project off.
We are anxious to get this much needed no-kill sanctuary so the thousands of animals each year in Lancaster and surrounding counties have a safe place to go, without the threat of euthanasia, until they are adopted to a loving "forever" family or transported to another less full no-kill facility. We are positioned to actually begin construction of this sanctuary, so, today we actively begin to seek help to make this sanctuary become a reality in 2017.
Here is a look at what we have done so far with your help:
● In December 2014, we purchased land that is zoned for this construction in the Regent Park area.
● In February of 2016 we purchased property in Indian Land that provides us with enough square footage to establish our headquarters, storage space and our already established thrift shop, PAWSitively Thrifty thereby eliminating rental fees and positioning us on-going financial support to keep our sanctuary open.
● We have paid for and completed everything possible through our Civil Engineering group at the sanctuary site such as land survey, wetlands report, site maps, etc.
● Perkins & Will have graciously provided us (pro bono) with an architectural rendering of our sanctuary. They also helped us through the process of seeking construction quotes and the actual selection of our builder, Victori Construction.
● Currently, there is not one thing further we can do but sign a contract to begin construction. This is where our plea for your help comes in. Without the secured funds needed, our hands are tied. During this holiday season and into 2017, won’t you please consider giving a tax deductible contribution to this project fund so we can break ground earlier rather than later? .
More opportunities can be found on our web site but here are a few suggestions...
● For just a $5,000 donation, you can have your name, “in memory of” or business name prominently
displayed on an individual dog run for the life of the sanctuary.
● For donations of $500, $1,000 or $2,500, your name or business name will be displayed in the lobby
of the sanctuary as a Bronze, Silver or Gold sponsor respectively.
● See all sponsor opportunities on our web site or reach out to us for additional information.
● Any and all donations are greatly appreciated to help us reach the ultimate goal of having the No Kill Sanctuary contructed in 2017.
