Bee Sanctuary - Cennen Garden Wildlife Habitat

One third of our global food supply is pollinated by bees.
Basically, without bees there would be very little for humans to eat.
There is a problem though - 97% of natural bee and butterfly habitats have been lost in the UK since World War 2.
97%. Ninety seven percent! This is frightening!
We need to create, preserve and save wild bees for healthy environments.

I am lucky enough to live in some of the beautiful countryside of Wales.
Unlike Morgan Freeman, I am unable to convert hundreds of acres of land into a bee sanctuary

I can however, with your help, transform a half acre plot of land into a wildflower and wildlife garden to provide a safe habitat for bees and other declining wild creatures.


So, here is what needs doing and where your Pounds and Pennies come in...
The proposed piece of land is in very poor state. Several trees have fallen in high winds and much of the area is overgrown with brambles and nettles. A new access is needed and the fencing needs updating to keep the area safe from dogs and other predators.
Three medium sized beehives need to be purchased.

Initial work, future maintenance, and if successful the option for expansion.

Whilst it is certain that nature can live without humans, humans cannot live without nature.
