Woodard Family

Zane and Sabina Woodard were hit hard today by the tornado that hit Denair.  Sabina said she saw it coming and they had just seconds to get under Zane's hospital bed. Zane suffers from Parkinsons diease and is disabled. She said that the destruction took only minutes,  to rip the roof off of their home, shatter the windows, toss the inside of their home around, destroy their garage and toss their barn on top of one car and shatter the windows in the other car.  They took shelter under Zane's hospital bed and waited for the destruction to stop.  Thank the good Lord that none of the flying debris and glass hurt them.  Sabina has the spirit and heart of an angle. She works as a teacher's aid at Sacred Heart School. They rely solely on her income as Zane is no longer able to work.  They have been married for 33 years and have lived in their home in Denair for almost 32 years. These last couple of years have been hard on both of them. Sabina has the most positive attitude , even though she has been financially strapped by the medical bills for Zane and now this total destruction of their home.
Although they have homeowners insurance that will cover the repairs, as we all know, it will take some time for them to receive the insurance funds and in the meantime Sabina will most likley need to take time off of work to handle their affairs.  They are in need of immediate financial assistance to obtain temporary housing while their home is repaired as well as the daily incidentials that we all take for granted i.e., food, clothing, toiletries, rental vehicle, etc.  As well as accepting donations via gofundme, gift cards may be purchsed and/or dropped off at Sacred Heart School in Turlock.  Just let them know that you are donating for Zane and Sabina Woodard.
