Please help us in our effort to SAVE LIVES of Dogs in Need and Provide Continued Care for our Rescue and Sanctuary Dogs. THEY need US and WE need YOU!
Welcome to HOUND Rescue and Sanctuary. We are an Ohio Registered 501(c)(3) Non Profit Rescue and Sanctuary in Findlay, Ohio. We work to place Dogs into safe loving homes with responsible new owners. We also provide lifelong sanctuary to senior and unadoptable Dogs. Pulling Dogs from high risk and kill shelters, and taking in owner surrenders, our purpose is to save Dogs from euthanasia and prevent Dogs from becoming homeless. Our mission is to save the lives of Dogs in need. HOUND = Helping Overlooked Unwanted Neglected Dogs
To save the lives of Dogs in need; some homeless, some facing euthanasia in pounds and shelters, and others being surrendered to us, we need YOU to keep helping US!
We continue saving the lives of Dogs because of the help we get from YOU, our Donors! With every donation received we are able to provide veterinary care, food, shelter, and supplies required for the everyday needs of our Rescue and Sanctuary Dogs.
An average Dog in our rescue requires about $300-$350 in vetting costs alone BEFORE s/he is adopted. And that is NOT including the Dogs with special needs like heartworms, behavioral issues, cancer, etc. As well, we often provide lifelong sanctuary to senior and unadoptable Dogs for the remainder of their lives. So the veterinary care, feeding and costs to provide for them are ongoing. With everything required to properly care for our Rescue and Sanctuary Dogs, the expenses add up quickly! Thankfully the Love and TLC we provide them daily doesn’t cost a penny!
This campaign is for our Rescue and Sanctuary Dogs, but as well it is for our DONORS! We want all of our Donors to know that we greatly appreciate your help. In fact, we can't do this without YOU and the funds you generously share with our Rescue and Sanctuary Dogs!
