15 and Pregnant - Choosing Life

Being 15 and pregnant is not an easy situation. Those of you who know and love Caitlin are aware of the very stressful legal situation surrounding this pregnancy.  We do not know the fate of his father and whole we consider this baby a blessing, and chose to bring him into the world despite those circumstances, we are well aware of the financial and emotional stresses to come. Needing to finish high school online is a very time consuming process and takes many hours away from working.  Previously an honor student and state champion choir singer, we plead with those in the community to help offset those costs.  As a single mother myself, with no support from Caitlin's father, I can and will do everything possible, however expenses above and beyond Medicaid are also extremely high due to this being a high risk pregnancy.  The adversities we will face in the future will be greatly eased with your generosity. The baby will need car seats, clothes, diapers, bottles, a crib, and a home to maintain. Having recently been served with eviction for non payment of rent is devestating when we are both trying so hard. I can not possibly be here for her and be at work at the same time. In just 8 more weeks Caitlin will be welcoming a baby boy into the world. I have seen an amazing sense of community here in North Texas so Please find it in your hearts to donate even a small amount to this baby's life.
