15 Children and One in a Million

Donation protected
Ken was a midwife in the early 90's and had seen many couples struggling with infertility. Already having children of his own Ken wanted to donate in order to allow others this beautiful gift of children.

Ken had three children of his own and went on to adopt a girl from Taiwan (Gian) who they later discovered suffered  from a rare condition called Microcephaly. This means her brain did not develop past the age of a 3 year old, and now at the age of 14 Gian needs constant care. Unfortunately she is unable to care for her self, read or write and requires 24 hour care.

Ken was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and then discovered he had 11 children from his sperm donation back in 1990.  These children (now adults) have began to come forward and Ken has welcomed each of them with open arms.

Ken and his wife Sue are extremely generous, always putting others first such as their newly found family members. With Kens Parkinsons and Gian needing constant care, we want to help Ken comfortably retire and obtain the care for Gian that is costly yet very much needed.  Medically and with the need for further care for Gian in future, there will be significant financial strain.

Our goal is to provide Gian with the care she needs and to allow Ken a comfortable retirement free from financial burden. Ken is constantly doing so much for others and it is time we did something for him.  As one of Ken's donor conceived children, I also wish to thank him for the gift of life. This is a small gesture to him from all of the lives he has created and also changed for the better such as my own.

No donation is too small, any help to reach these goals would be appreciated. Let's show Ken some love, as he has given so much love to so many!
