You probably want a bit of background information. Well, here it goes.

I am a Sign Language student, who lives in a small village, about two hours from her school. I can't move to that city, since I don't have the funds to pay for a room. Most people tell me that I should just ask my mom for the money, but there comes the problem: my mom doesn't have any. Due to a faulty accountant that didn't fill in our tax returns like he should have, my mom has to pay back a lot of money.

A second problem raised his head a few years back as well. My father doesn't want to pay any money, which means we don't have the 300 Euro he is supposed to pay us every month. He just stopped paying a few years back. He still owes us 20.000 Euro.

My mom and I love each other deeply, but we can't live on love alone. The last few years have been enormously hard on us, but up until now, we managed to get through. But not any more. Our computer doesn't work, so we have two laptops. They're not the best quality there is, but they work. When I got mine, I was in school as well, and I had to have one for school. My mom's laptop is good enough to do her banking on. But now, both of our laptops are broken. I can't take mine to school any more, which can be a problem, since I have to do a lot of work with deaf people and, as you know, it's rather hard to call a deaf person. I need my laptop to do that. My mom's laptop is even worse. But, we decided that my laptop is good enough for my mother, so now it's just me who needs a new one.

I hate asking for money. I've been raised with the idea that you should always take care for yourself and never ask anyone for help, especially when it comes to money, but I feel like I'm drowning. By making this page, I give you all of my pride, while hopefully receiving enough money to buy me a decent laptop. Please, please help us. We're doing the best we can.
