Hello Veradicts, Thank you for stopping by my go-fund me page! If you are here on this page it shows you want to support me as much as I want to make a change or difference in the Filipino community. As you all know I have a soft spot in my heart for the people of the Philippines. After watching 8 days in the Philippines by Nas Daily, I was moved and encouraged to do something about the state of the country. Yes I may not be able to safe the day, but at least I can help where I can and when possible Just last month Dec 2019, At 14:11 PST (06:11 UTC) on December 15, 2019, the province of Davao del Sur on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines was struck by an earthquake measuring 6.8 Mw. It had a maximum perceived intensity of VII (Very strong) on the Modified Mercalli Intensity Scale. Now today Jan 2020 under a month ago, Taal Volcano in the Philippines has sent an eruption plume a kilometer above the crater, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology. The agency says Taal is showing a "fast escalation" in volcanic activity and could erupt lava within weeks. Evacuation orders have been ordered for three towns in Batangas, Luzon, according to CNN affiliate CNN Philippines. Flights have been disrupted at Manila International Airport. Many lives has been lost and possibly more will be affected by this. I am compelled to do something if not I won't be at peace with myself. I would like to visit the Phillipines, to share some giftaid and donations to the less privileged kids who live in graveyards and dump trash mountains. My plan is to go out there to share some relief materials , some good music, touch lives and just make someone happy and with your help this can be possible. The Filipino community has been so so supportive, loving, kind and generous it's a shame to see a country filled with beautiful souls go through such disaster. The living conditions of some of the kids is so so terrible it's disturbing. I am trying to show that hard word indeed pays off, and you can make it without having to fake it.. Some of us have the luxury of what others do not have. How do we reach out to people if we sit in our own comfort zone and watch from afar???? We need to be the change we want to see! I would like to share the process with everyone I know and letting them play a part in bringing this dream into a reality.
