Help Daniel See Beyonce

Donation protected

A terrible calamity has occurred in my life. Yesterday after her flawless Super Bowl performance, Beyoncé announced a new world tour. Initially, I was ecstatic, until I saw the tour schedule. I go to school at USC in Los Angeles, but this summer I'm studying on scholarship in Paris. It so happened that Beyoncé scheduled the European leg of her tour while I'm still here in LA, and the North American leg while I'm in Paris. I was devastated.

In the last 24 hours, I've gone through all five stages of grief. First was denial, then anger, then bargaining, and depression, and finally I'm gaining acceptance. But the acceptance that I have gained is that not all is lost! You see, there are still a couple of shows along the eastern seaboard that I could feasibly attend. In particular, the shows in Brooklyn and Washington DC would fit in my schedule. The problem is that I have very little funding at my disposal to travel due to the expenses associated with studying in Paris for two months.

That's where you come in! If you know me at all, you understand how important to me this is. You've heard me gush about her, you've heard me defend her to the death, and you've probably seen the sincere look in my eyes--that twinkling of pure joy--that I get when I am lost in her music. And had you been able to see me during her halftime performance at the Super Bowl, you would've seen me quivering uncontrollably from her perfection as I stared at the screen with a smile bigger than her love for Blue Ivy. But despite this intense passion I have for her and her art, I've never been to a Beyoncé concert. I even have the concert DVD of every concert she's performed, but my dream of watching her perform live has never come to fruition.

As I was discussing her halftime performance with someone, I was told that it would be a "travesty" if I never got to see Beyoncé. This is the reality I'm facing. She only does a tour every 3-4 years, and the only guarantee in the entertainment world is the present.

Every donation--even just a dollar--will help me out. Every penny will go to helping me travel to the concert I would end up choosing (either Brooklyn or Washington DC). And if by the grace of God your generous donations exceed the minimum cost required to get from LA into that arena, then whatever surplus I have will be donated to Feeding America, a charity that Beyoncé has assisted in the past. I aim to be very transparent about this.

I need your help. Please help me make my dream come true.
