211 HelpLine Needs a Generator!

211 is a local crisis hotline and community helpline that is accessible 24/7 to anyone who is in crisis or those looking for information, support and guidance.
Due to a number of power outages and our recent Hurricane scare, it’s become obvious that we need a backup generator. We have been successful in getting a generator donated and raising approximately 80% of the installation costs, however we need to raise the additional $2,000 to complete the project.
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO KEEP OUR LIGHTS ON!
By dialing three simple numbers, 2-1-1, callers can get connected to the services and resources that are available to them, in their time of crisis. From the single mother looking for affordable childcare to the distraught man standing on the railroad tracks wanting to take his own life - 211 is there to listen and to care. Calling 211 is free and confidential no matter the time of day or night.
No matter how large or small the donation, you are helping us to provide uninterrupted service to individuals in crisis. Having that piece of mind will allow 211 HelpLine to be more effective and efficient in serving those who need us the most. Thank you!
