NX500 "sacrificial" camera

I'd like to have a NX500 camera on which I can do my research without fear of bricking it. Since the results of the dpreview poll seem to be encouraging after all, I'd like to ask everyone to pitch in so I can acquire the camera (amazon price used as reference).

Why should you contribute?

Because this way you will enable more in-depth investigations of the NX camera system and riskier experiments in the hope of getting even better performance out of it.
I will not make any promises because I do not want to give you false hopes: this may get to nothing after all, but I hope that my track record so far will encourage you: so far I
 - enabled DEV mode for both NX500 and NX1 allowing, among other, video recording time limit
 - enabled high bitrate video for both NX1 and NX500, including for 2560x1440 (or 2.5K) for NX500.
