So just to keep folks updated... The last shipment of goods we packed up a week ago has finally arrived and been unloaded at Drift. Thanks again to all who donated time, money and goods. Although the need for items is on going we no longer have funds to support another truck load and alternative transportation is no longer available at this time. Therefore we would like to reiterate that we can no longer accept clothing donations. But if we hear of an alternative drop off location we will keep you posted. Enjoy your long weekend! May it be filled with fun!

And so we are closer to the end...we were able to source out another support to transport our goods in one shipment to the specific location that we were hoping to!! Thanks to my mom for helping me package up the rest of the essential items and getting them ready for delivery! And for all the awesome folks who came out at the last minute to load up the Manitoulin truck you guys rocked it! We had everything from the garage loaded and into the truck in an hour and a half!! Couldn't have done it all without you! Please tag yourself in the pictures! Once we have a list of where everything was transported we will keep you posted!

We want to update all you folks on the supply shipments.
A load went out Monday from Bella's of all the sorted cloths and pet food. AMJ picked it up and that truck went out last night with ATLAS.
Today another load of clothing is being picked up by AMJ today from Bella's and will be put on the next ATLAS truck going through.
We are sourcing transportation for the NEW relief items as we fear they will get displaced in the mix of concussion of a large depot. It is our goal to get it delivered to a specific address to insure it is used ASAP. We want this load to go in one shipment and to a specific address.
We will keep you posted! That is the update for now :) have a wonderful Wednesday folks!

The Volunteers of Redwater thank you for your amazing donation of Precious Cargo it is on Route to Wandering River alberta for all the People up there.
You guys Rock
Your donactions went directly to offset the cost of shipping for the NEW items collected, diapers, wipes, new socks and under wear, new toiletries everythign form shampoo to razers to deoderant. hundereds of boxes packed and sent, NEW childrens colouring books, femine products, the list goes on and on!
We are proud of the items collected and sent and the generosity of the community!
And to you all for getting it to where it needed to go!
Our donations were shipped with Manitoulin trucking out of Thunder Bay directly to Drift Production services in Red Water Alberta where they were than trucked to Wandering River Alberta to an evac center.

Hey everyone!
We are on a mission! The population of Fort McMurray Alberta has been driven out of their homes and community due to wildfires that have taken the town.
Folks just like you and me had to evacuate Fort McMurray through flames yesterday leaving everything they have behind. Literally with the cloths on their backs!
We have started a flash Clothing and Essential Needs Drive to get the people effected, clothing, and basic needs such as personal care items, baby formula, socks, underwear ....just the basics!
We are also sending up little gift for the children, colouring books, children’s books, crayons etc. to try to brighten their day!
Why are we asking for cold hard cash? We have to get the goods to the people! We need to raise money to pay for transportation!
Dreaming big, our goal is a transport truck full by Monday or Tuesday May 9th or 10th! The sooner we get the supplies to them the better!
We are in Thunder Bay, Ontario (in Northwestern Ontario, Canada) and we are sending it to where it is needed most (Edmonton, Alberta area)! A bit of journey!
Many of our friends and families work in Fort McMurray, this hit close to home and to the heart as we know people living this tragedy and we are 2334km away!
Got a dollar give a dollar! We can make this happen!
I truly believe that this is a goal that can be reached!
We need the funds by Monday May 9th 2016 to make this happen!
You can make a HUGE difference in the lives of others! Make this your random act of kindness for the day!
Our hearts break for those who are left with nothing, time to put your money where your mouth is and take care of Canadians in need!
Fort McMurray employs people from across Canada - Shore to shore....this will have lasting effect on us all!
We can make a difference so let’s do it!
