Nick Wammes - Junior Track Worlds

Months of hard training with the support of my family, friends, teachers, and especially my amazing coaches have led to the great opportunity of being able to represent Canada this July in Aigle, Switzerland at the 2016 UCI Junior Track Cycling World Championships.

My name is Nick Wammes. I am 16 years old and live in Bothwell, ON. I am a track sprint cyclist with the London-based Team Kallisto FCV p/b Toyo Tires.
 
My journey to this point began 4 years ago after being inspired by watching Canada's Women's Team Pursuit racing for the bronze medal in the 2012 Olympics. I thought then what a privilege it would be to represent Canada on the International stage.

Monies received through your donations will help to offset the costs for travel, training and accommodations associated with this competition.

I am very grateful for this amazing opportunity and with your help and support, I will be able to travel to Switzerland as a member of Team Canada.
