My name is Misty, I am a young adult that has lived in the heart of georgia all of her life. I am struggling with many mental problems and have been hospitalized many times over the past few months. Growing up I was abused badly by my father and eventually thrown out of his house. I am currently living with my mother who is disabled. We get around $700 from SSI benefits a month which all goes towards rent/furniture bills/food/ Utility, etc. My mother and I have dreamed of moving to Oklahoma for so long now, It is our dream and goal.
We are asking for $5,000 to cover:
-Pet deposit fee
-Apartment deposit free
-Car (We will purchase a pre-owned car from craigslist, We currently do not have a car. Both my Mother and I are liscensed to drive.)
-Gas
-Long distance Mover fees
-Transfer fees
The money will be used to ensure that we get to oklahoma safely along with all of our belongings and our beloved pet rabbit. We have picked out a complex that we plan on moving into, The rent there is fairly decent and it has very nice amenities.
We are looking to aquire the funds and move around/after the end of the year.
This means so much to us because for years we have talked about and dreamed about moving to Oklahoma. We have so many plans that we would like to come true. My mother and I have lived in this small town in Georgia for all of our lives, Its getting to the point where its making MY depression worse being constantly reminded 'Oh yes, I was abused here.'
